This document provides the firmware release note and history of the product

This firmware provides the following modification:

A: Bug Fixed -

(1) Fixed the "Detail Port Statistics" count CRC packets error.

(2) Fixed the VLAN PVID configuration step.


B. Function Added -

Upgrade Requirements:

1. The latest firmware version of GSW-1602SF/GSW-2404SF.
2. The GSW-1602SF/GSW-2404SF.
3. Workstation with Microsoft IE 6.0 or above.


Upgrade procedure:
1. Connect the RJ-45 UTP cable to the target switch
.
2. Login is required to access the WEB interface after the switch boot completes successfully. The factory default password is "admin".

3. After Web main screen appeared, click the "System \ Firmware Upgrade" at the left Menu.  

4. The screen will be direct to the "Firmware Upgrade", click the "Browse" button to select the correct firmware file.

5. Click "Upload" button to start the firmware upgrade procedure. Please don't power off the switch while procedure be started.

6. Please wait until the successful message shows in the Update Status field.

7. A message appears- "Do you want to activate new software?". Click the "Yes" button to apply the new firmware.

8. Please wait until the system reboot complete.

9. Relogin the switch via WEB browser. Please click the "System' \ "System Info" to double check if the firmware be upgraded successfully.
