WARRIOR OF RAS - VOLUME TWO - KAIV
(c)1982 Screenplay
AUTHOR: Randall Don Masteller
-----------------------------------
This program is a conversion from an Apple computer program. It
is the sequel of DUNZHIN, the "Volume One" of "Warrior of RAS."
It has a more varied list of commands and you can stash your
treasure back at the entrance to the dungeon.

This program is controlled via keyboard only.

At the entrance to the KAIV, you have the options:

(B)uy
(E)nter
(Q)uit
(R)etrieve
(S)tash

This entrance plays the role of the tavern or other rest areas in
other adventure games. You can equip yourself as well as store
valuable stuff you find in the KAIV dungeon (and you will have to
store things as your weight must remain bearable in order to
fight).

The generic control keys are

F8 to adjust the background color (it does not need to remain
dark, you can use light colors such as green)
F7 to adjust the color of your character for optimum visibility
     in the chosen background
F1 gives the various properties and physical condition of your
     character
F5 lists the items carried by your character (inventory)
F3 posts the list of commands and control keys given here - you
can also type 'help' at the prompt.

Prompt commands:

FOOTSTEPS
HELP
QUIT
SAVE
SOUND
SPEED

Single-key Commands

A Aim E Eat N Hide R Run
K Bribe Y Extinguish H Hit S Store
C Climb F Fetch L Light J Swap
V Disuse X Force M Move U Use
D Drink G Get P Pick W Wear
B Drop O Remove

The Valid Targets in combat are as follows, each have a strength
against being hit which depends on the kind of monster, e. g. a
skeleton is weak at the neck...

H Head N Neck
C Chest RF Right Foreleg
A Abdomen LF Left Foreleg
RA Right Arm RH Right Hindleg
LA Left Arm LH Left Hindleg
RL Right Leg B Body
LL Left Leg

You may want to record the strengths and weaknesses of the
monsters your character encounters for future reference.

Saving Character and game:

There are 6 positions for character saving and 6 positions for
