How to use Hoxs64
=================

Close Hoxs64 ->			{ALT F4}
Toggle fullscreen mode ->	{ALT ENTER}

The keys on the PC keyboard map to keys on the Hoxs64. The less
obvious keys are as follows.

C64 KEY ->		PC KEY
=======			======
Hard reset ->		F12
Soft reset ->		F11
Restore ->		{Page Up}
Run/Stop ->		Tab
Clr/Home ->		Home
Commodore Key ->	\ or {CAPS LOCK}
Colon ->		#
@ ->			'
* ->			[
Arrow up ->		]
+ ->			{Num +}

Full screen mode can be toggled on or off with the [Alt Enter] key
combination. You need to be in windowed mode to access the menu.

TIP:
Users with slow computers can improve performance by disabling the
1541 drive when drive emulation is not required. The option to
disable the 1541 drive is in the settings menu.

Loading a D64 (Disk drive) game.
================================
1) Press F12 to reset Hoxs64.
2) From the menu select Disk / Insert and browse and select a .D64
file.
3) There is a choice of three methods of loading a game, and some
times only one method will work.

Method 1
	Type    LOAD "*",8,1   <return>
	Wait..
	Type    RUN            <return>
	Wait..
Method 2
	Type    LOAD "*",8     <return>
	Wait..
	Type    RUN            <return>
	Wait..
Method 3
	Type    LOAD "$",8                <return>
	Wait..
	Type    LIST                      <return>
	Wait..
	Type LOAD "MY GAME NAME",8 <return>
	Wait..
	Type    RUN            <return>
	Wait..

Note that in method 3. After you type "LIST", you will see a list of
the 1541 floppy disk contents. You must choose a file name from this
list to go with the "LOAD" command instead of the "MY GAME NAME" as
shown above.

It has been noticed that some loaders use the screen area as a
temporary work space. Some of these loader only work if you type the
LOAD and RUN commands in a space near the top of the screen. Some
games like "Frankie goes to Hollywood" do not like to have a disk
drive connected to the C64. The disk drive emulation can be disabled
from the settings menu.
