This program is a conversion from an Apple computer program. It 
has a sequel KAIV, the "Volume Two" of "Warrior of RAS."


This program is controlled via keyboard only.

At the entrance to the DUNZHIN, you have the options to:

(Q)uit
(E)nter

For each game there is a stated target to reach, finding a 
strange, mysterious object and returning to the entrance of the 
DUNZHIN with it. In your quest you will have to fight a long 
list of monsters and beings, as well as bribe ones who have 
desirable objects. As you progress the map of the area you have 
visited will become progressively uncovered. Controls are 
exclusively via keyboard.

The generic control keys are

F8   to adjust the background color (it does not need to remain 
     dark, you can use light colors such as green)
F7   to adjust the color of your character for optimum visibility 
     in the chosen background
F1   gives the various properties and physical condition of your 
     character
F5   lists the items carried by your character (inventory)
F3   posts the list of commands and control keys given here - you
     can also type 'help' at the prompt.

The Valid Targets in combat are as follows, with each kind of
adversary having a specific strength against being hit, e. g. 
a skeleton is weak at the neck. You will then have to record 
the strengths and weaknesses of the monsters/beings your 
character encounters for future reference.

One last thing: You need a treasure pouch to collect things, 
so beware of the Thief!

Saving Character and game:

There are 6 positions for character saving and 6 positions for
game saving.
