Instructions (from on-screen text - with slight changes)

Bill Stickers must paste posters on every board in town. Get a 
roll of paper into position and use Fire to stick it down. If 
it is correctly positioned it will stick, if not it won't. Keep
adding paper til the poster is done. Use the ladder to reach 
the proper board areas but don't lean too far. Keep paste just 
right. Don't touch the wazzocks.


DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS

Getting Started
---------------
Plug joystick in Port 2. Two players play consecutively. 
Wait for and observe demo. Be sure you see details about how 
Bill moves (see below). Then press any key, you will be on the 
Options Screen. Use joystick up-down to point to the changes you 
want to make then push right to select. Press fire to start game.
This intro will show up again at game over. 

Bill's Basic Movements
----------------------
Bill has to do several precise things in a sequence while he is 
being annoyed by the wazzocks...

1. Adjust the ladder position. To do so his feet have to be 
vertically on the yellow line and horizontally right in front of 
the ladder. Then you can move him AND the ladder left or right 
with the joystick. The ladder should be to the right of the 
posting area. Only trials will tell you where. It is quite a 
precise adjustment. If he fails to make a correct adjustment the 
roll drops and his Poster Paster Bonus (PPB) is decreased by 
1000. However he can still go on if he has lost all his bonus. 
Once the ladder is positioned, move Bill down in the street to
release the ladder.

2. Get to the roll box, on its left or right, standing on the 
yellow line and have him located such that he points with his 
brush approximately at the center of the box. He will then hold 
a roll of paper.

3. Go back to the ladder (right at its center). Check then on the 
pasting condition of the glue (PCG). It can be between water-
liquid-runny-gooey-paste-lumpy or solid. The poster can stick 
only in the range runny to paste. You will have to wait for the 
proper range. In the meantime you can kill a few wazzocks for 
points...

4. Go up the ladder at a point where the roll starts slightly 
below the top where it has to end up, then press fire. Don't get 
discouraged by your first trials, you will get the "hang of it", 
literally!

About the Wazzocks
-------------------
They go only on the sidewalk, so if you are in the street they 
can't reach you. You can shoot them with your glue only 
horizontally, so keep an eye on Bill's location versus them!
